The First SplitX Summit Gathers VR/AR Experts in Croatia

Key industry experts and pioneers are among the confirmed speakers of the first SplitX VR/AR Summit in Split, Croatia. The event will take place on May 25 to 27 and is invitation-only due to the essence of the event and the limited number of seats.

 

Among the speakers are Dominic Eskofier - Head of VR, EMEAI at Nvidia, Krasimir Nikolov – CEO of QuarkVR, Daniel Sproll - Co-Founder of Realities.io, Florian Glatt - Advisor at SpaceSys, and Amir Bozorgzadeh, CEO at Virtuleap.

The organizer - Armando Matijević - CEO of SpaceSys – describes the event as a ‘3-day summit with the laid-back Dalmatian lifestyle for effortless and productive workcation’.

 

Agenda

The talks and panel discussions include applications of VR and AR in enterprise, fundraising, productivity in 3D environments, and transitioning a VR/AR business from Europe to Silicon Valley. At the end of the agenda there is also a VR showcase featuring Vive, Vive Pro, and Vive Focus.

 

Venue

The host - Armando Matijević – promises 3-days filled with the latest industry insights, case studies, experiences, and of course an introduction to the beautiful sights and rich history that the ancient city of Split offers. The attendees will get to visit the Diocletian Palace – a Unesco world heritage site, core center of the city which was used as a shooting location for TV hit show ‘Game of Thrones’. Another shooting location for the HBO series – Fortress of Klis – is also included in the venues of SplitX. Yet another key spot is Bajso – a unique spacious venue 400m up on a hill, with a tavern serving traditional food. The attendees will also visit the unique SplitX office – 650 feet from the beach and a 10 minute walk from the Palace.
